Lewis and Clark Expedition Flight - Leg 4 - FlightShare

Hey everyone! We will be conducting our next leg (Vol. 4) of the Lewis and Clark Expedition this Sunday. We will on the East USA server, and in Event airspace on FlightShare For voice chat (or just to listen in) we will be using the event voice chat in the FlightShare Discord group.

We will be departing from the grass strip at Lake Andes Municipal Airport via runway 12 (the same one we arrived on). This will take us over the west edge of the Yankton Indian Reservation where we will continue our story as we head east over the Pickstown dam. Tour guide BushyBen will be in the old trusty 208 Caravan. Our target airspeed will be about 150 knots. Bring an aircraft that you enjoy that will comfortably fly at this speed and isn’t afraid of a little dirt on its tires.

Ben will have the flight plan shared just before the flight. For points of interest along the trip, he will also be sharing numerous marked favorites. If you wish to see them, they can be turned on using the drop down menu in the top right corner just before the trip.

We look forward to seeing everyone interested in participating! We have had some great flights, and have met some awesome pilots along the way. Since this project has shown continued interest, Ben has been working on improving the historical accuracy, and timing of the trip. As always, we appreciate your feedback! Hope to see you soon!
