So, using Gsync (nothing changed in NCP) and Vsync off in game. Should I set the resonse time in the screens settings to anything else than the default “Fast” option? I’ve read you can get ghosing if set to slow, but also if its set to fast? Which setting in FS2020 whith this screen you think?
The faster the response time the more probability to have overshoot (image distortion), specially at high refresh rates. You may need to set it to the value just below the fastest one in your settings range. Anyway this depends on the monitor itself (overshoot can also happen at lower refresh rates) and your own criteria. For me overshoot looks horrible as well as too slow response times, so I had to set mine at “Fast” (this is at the middle of my setting range), which is giving me 3ms response times at 120 Hz. “Fastest” was giving 1ms but with terrible overshoot.
Cheers
Yep, as @geloxo said, it’s a subjective thing.
It’s one of those things where we can’t tell you what to set it to. You’ll have to try the different settings in turn to see which you prefer and which you absolutely don’t want
