I remember I biought it, Where to find it? In the community?

Sorry but no idea. I guess depending where you bought it. Could be in Community folder or through Marketplace. You need to uninstall it and test again to confirm if it is the culprit or not.

Testing the Joby S4 during night I found that the position lights are producing artifacts similar to those of the OP.

Same issue. Tried 2 planes: C160 Transall and the A330-200 RR. As soon as the lights look like this, framerate drops to unplayable levels.

Issue appears after the Sim is running for a while (about 5 minutes).
Version: 1.5.4.0

UPDATE:
Since deactivating “Realistic Aircraft Lights” by Zinertek, it seems the problem has disappeared.

Zinertek realistic aircraft lights addon is causing the issue in SU3 beta. Disable this addon and it will solve the issue.

I don’t have the Zinertek addon (and in my case, the halos are not perfectly roind but star-shaped). FPS were also normal when seeing these artifacts.

I also had starshaped ones…I went back to check if zinerteck was active again and it did…all solved after deactivation of the addon

Double checked today with empty community folder - same starshaped halo sprites. The artifacts are most obvious near dusk and dawn. In pitch black night you don’t see the peripheral color bands.
It seems to me that is all related to some change in the depiction of night lights introduced in SU3 beta. Street lights in some distance now also have a blurry glow which I find not realistic.

The star shaped lights are a design choice, not a bug. Whether it’s a good design, is up for discussion. In the same vein as lens flares in first person view.

True, but they should not stand out like that during twilight.
