Hello guys, I am planning to upgrade my 10900K, and somewhere on the forum came across some advice to check what is bottlenecking my current setup, and in the developer mode, to my surprise, it showed that I am GPU limited, on RTX3080.
Any advice or your thought here would be appreciated.

I see exact 30 fps… and enabled VSync… so, whats your exact V-Sync setting and your monitors refresh rate ?
Monitor default refresh rate is 60 hz, and I have in game settings set to 1/2 refresh rate. Gsync is enabled by default, and settings are default in Nvidia control panel.
Logic would suggest that as you have prevented your GPU from producing more than 30 fps, a frame rate limit, then this might suggest why you are seeing the message that the GPU is the limiting factor.
You could try removing the frame rate limit and see what the frame rate counter reports then.

Exactly, logical right, LOL, after removing the frame limiter I got the message Limited by the main thread. Thanks for your help.

exactly what I mentioned:
60 fps monitor and 50% Vsync = 30 fps 
PS: and its not a frame-limiter like these one in nvidia control panel. With V-Sync you avoid tearing because you may send more pictures to the monitor, as the monitor can handle. Of course a limitinf of fps is so also possible .
