No, that option has never been checked.
That worked Alex. Thank you for your help. Much appreciated.

I am running a slightly older version of LNM on my old networked PC and when the new one arrived it was a nightmare getting it and the old one to talk toeach other across the network. A Microsoft Tech spent three hours fixing this, for which I thank him, but my question is this.
Are there any real advantages in putting the latest version in and has Little Navconnect itself changed recently? I have experienced a few CTDs with this new setup which never used to happen when I ran LNM on an even older
networked Laptop that is now free to act as a doorstop.
Plenty. There is an incredible number of bug fixes in all the latest versions and I see zero reason to use an old (and unsupported) version.

Is there any possibility for LNM to āIMPORTā a Garmin formatted flight plan.
(It obvious can EXPORT in that format)
Thanks Alex. That is job number one tomorrow then, eh?
Yes. Very recommended.
Depends on the format. Garmin FPL is supported: 9. Main Menu and Toolbars ā Little Navmap User Manual
Alex
MSFS Garmin FPL maybe ?, but not the Real World Garmin .gfp (Garmin Flight Plan)
Yes, I should have been more specific with my initial question ⦠"import a Garmin .gfp Flight Plan)
Any chance of support for this ?
Reason:
If I only have a FP created for a real worlds Garmin, or the Garmin Trainer in MSFS, (ie a .gfp) it would be nice to be able to import that into LNM as well.
I see. Noted but I cannot promise when.
In the sim update 9 beta all airports are showing as add-ons after updating the scenery library. Using version 2.6.17
Thanks for the report. Just updated and see this too.
They moved airports to a new folder fs-base-genericairports
which is the reason LNM does not recognize these as stock.
You can add the fs-base-genericairports
folder to the exclude list for add-on recognition in LNM as a workaround. Will fix this for the next alpha release of LNM.
Alex
I take it this is just for SU9Beta users and us folk who stick with SU8 donāt need do anything?
Only for SU9 so far. You wonāt find the folder fs-base-genericairports
in SU8.

This forum is great. You notice an issue, go to the forum, and voila, the solution is there. Great, thx!
Yes. And also a massive shoutout to the developer of this program. Best flight sim app, best flight sim dev in my opinion.
What am i missing here? Seems that LNM is connected but i donāt have any maps visible here. This worked just fine, before i upgraded my main drive to Samsung 980 NVME (500GB), cloned my OS there, and moved my MSFS installation from HDD to the new SSD. Also reloaded the scenery library with correct path in hopes to solve this. Just now thinking that i move the MSFS installation back to the HDD, loading times did not improve so much that i hoped for⦠now it hovers near 4 minute markā¦
Sorry, I canāt help much with this. You might want to contact the plugin author.
Ohā¦i see⦠it maybe ingamepanels not working anymore, because Asobo/MS deliberately effed this up. How cool of them. Time to start using my old samsung tablet then, at least that seems to be working quite wellā¦
Iāve read a report from a use who opted in to the beta, then when they opted out their in-game panels had stopped working. I donāt think it was LNM related but since you mentioned the panels I thought it worth mentioning.
Assuming you are using the Littlenavmap Docker by @ByMaximus, unfortunately that plugin has stopped working with SU8 and it had been already been working spottily since SU7 (you needed to close and reopen or resize the LNM window for you to be able to display the map, and the icon on the tool bar had disappeared).
Unfortunately, the pluginās author has been inactive on the forums for a year now and the plugin itself hasnāt been updated in two years.
Iām afraid weāre out of luck here, unless the problem has something to do with the general issues that ingame panels have been having since SU8 (https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/vfr-map-and-other-panels-slow-to-load-reset-after-being-closed/501932/56).
