Little navmap and navigraph navdata

Hi

Do I need to obtain a navigraph navdata suscripción or I can only use msfs navdata?

You do not need any subscription to use LNM it will use the MSFS navdata.

Are you a real world pilot using MSFS as training or is there a particular need for you to have a navigraph subscription?

If you can’t answer yes to either of the questions, I do not see any need for a subscription.

Download LNM and use it. If you are new to it, you may be a little overwhelmed. It does a lot.

As BoboSkypark says, you may not need it; however, having up to date nav data makes airliner flying much more enjoyable. You can keep MSFS, LNM, and SimBrief all on the same Airrac data. That way any real world charts you want to use will match the data you’re using in the sim.

Regardless of which method you use (MSFS or Navigraph) it is important to actually load the Scenery Library from MSFS into LNM. This will ensure your NAVDATA and scenery are in sync (gate to gate).

This ensures airports, taxiways, parking, etc… are all up to date with your Scenery, etc…

From the top, select “Scenery Library” → “Load Scenery Library” → “Load”

This will scan your MSFS install (as well a your community folder, so if you use an app like Addon Linker, ensure all addons are enabled so it can include those as well).

Once it’s done, select “Use Library”

You will see an error for encrypted airports it cannot read, this is okay.
