I solved my issue, but the instructions in that thread wouldn’t have fixed it. Prior to updating to SU7 I emptied my Community folder as recommended, after updating I had no traffic. I tried a bunch of things but nothing fixed it, so I reinstalled MSFS from scratch and it still didn’t fix it. I then did some more hunting through threads etc, and it turns out it was because I had Navigraph navdata installed prior to SU7. Even though I had moved it out of my community folder and also reinstalled MSFS from scratch, somehow MSFS was still looking for the Navigraph navdata. Once I reinstalled the Navigraph navdata it started working again.
TL;DR - Navigraph navdata must be installed or uninstalled using their app, moving the folder out of Community or deleting other sim files does not fully uninstall it.
Guys, has anyone of you live traffic? I have no live traffic…
Had live traffic from EGPF to EGLL this morning 6.30am->7:30am(GMT), but subsequent flight EGLL->LEMG 8.00->10.40am(GMT) there was no live traffic seen or heard. I also at one point this morning had an Azure offline warning then a connection restored message, but live traffic was missing on that second flight.
Live traffic has been borked for some time. Every time I click on the airport activity button in the World Map (even for busy airports like KIAD, EHAM, and even KJFK) I get a message that the server is offline or unavailable. I am using the Eastern US server but it has happened on others I have tried. Apparently, there is some issue with the company that MS was relying on for that data. I finally just gave up and use the AI traffic instead.
Every time I load into the sim I see Live Traffic. Sometimes a lot and sometimes a little but it’s always there.
Iv just finished a flight iv not heard any traffic from real world or online MP what so ever from ATC in a 3 hour flight
Wonder if the live traffic is from the same source as the Live Weather that is down. I saw no live traffic today. It was like the Zombie Apocalypse hit…

Is anyone having issues with Live Traffic. I am not sure if its related to the live weather issue going on, or if its an add on or something I did.

Yes I noticed something similar. Where I used to have much offline AI traffic and ATC used the correct a/l call sign, now it’s all gone. No traffic on the VFR Map, ATC rarely speaks to another a/c except to address it as, “Generic”. Another strange thing: at night, I can see lights from quite a few a/c. Don’t know if anyone has a fix for this. Sometimes I really miss how well things worked in MSFS X.
It all depends on where you are in the world. Flight Aware has much better CONUS coverage versus the rest of the world. I have FA traffic showing up heavily even in the middle of places where you don’t have too much commercial jet traffic. It’s live, real, you can look up the flight numbers and they match ORG-DEST and time of flight.
Most of my flights are in and out of KATL, a very busy place. No flights now.
Not sure what’s happening on your system, but here’s KATL right now. Note all the Live Delta Flights around me (you can verify ORG-DEST, Flight Number and timing using any commercial flight traffic site), as well as the actual Delta Flight next to me preparing to depart. The only mod I’m using is Aerosoft Simple Traffic. When used with Live Traffic, all it’s doing is applying the correct liveries to the AI traffic, not anything else.
I have no real world or AI traffic on my xbox series s. in the options I change the traffic from off under the aircraft type to real-time online and click apply and save. when I go back into the setting it has changed back to off again. I can’t find anyway round this !!
Does anyone still have no live traffic today…logged in and out of Windows several times, bad. Since the Su8 nothing works properly anymore. I have real problems with the live traffic.
I find it hit and miss, sometimes it loads in slowly while I’m at gate.
Today I had it and then paused into menus for a second went back and all live traffic had vanished.
Yes, I’ve also noticed that sometimes it doesn’t work.
Planes take off, when they take off, only with a roll speed that feels like 50 knots, I mean airliners, they will soon fall from the sky, it looks as if they are floating. And take off after only 50 m. Catastrophe !!!
Please Asobo take care of all these big problems that are more important than Iberia e.g. I know that it is probably a different team, but still…PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!

I’m only seeing 2 live traffic in the entire L.A area which I know cannot be true. Seems as of about a week or so live traffic has died off considerably. Anyone else having these issues?
