Live Traffic Not Working Again (for me)

OK, I screwed up and need some help. A few months ago, I installed AIG Manager. It worked OK and created “live” traffic. Well with the latest MSFS update, live traffic is working. I assumed I didn’t need AIG anymore, so I deleted AIG Manager and Traffic Controller (as in, I deleted the directories and files). So now, I get into MSFS and there is NO live traffic at all. Nothing moves. OK, darn it, I’ll just re-install AIG Manager to get me back where I was. Well I can’t do that because their servers aren’t working.

So now I’m stuck. First, do I need to do anything other than just delete the two AIG directories that were created with AIG Manager and Traffic Controller, and the two that were added to the Community folder to get everything working again? I deleted all four, but still no traffic. I don’t want to reinstall MSFS, but I’m thinking that may be my only option at this point.

You mean AI traffic… AIG does not deal with live traffic, nor change the MSFS live traffic in any way.

When you installed AIG, it should have asked you if you wanted to disable the MSFS built-in AI traffic. Now if you answered ‘yes’ then it would have renamed the file trafficAircraft.bgl to trafficAircraft.bgl.aigoff (in the …\Official\OneStore\fs-base-ai-traffic\scenery\world\traffic folder).

So yeah just deleting the AIG folders won’t bring your AI traffic back, you will have to rename that file back to trafficAircraft.bgl too.
