It’s back for me. Live weather “or at least dynamic weather” works on the first flight of a session. Subsequent flights give me clear skies, 29.92 and wind of 225/5-ish. And yes, I go in and select Live Weather before each flight. Seems like that’s a known issue from last patch that hasn’t been fixed yet.
This is the 4th time I’ve restarted the sim in order to get weather to work again after a flight… All 3 prior times, weather is reset to “default” Anyone else?
I don’t think this is a new issue this patch though. I’ve had this last patch as well. Try setting it to clear skies and changing to live weather in the flight itself
This was never fixed before.
1.10.11.0 worked quite well for me today, with the sim’ed weather matching real-time skyvector rather well into deteriorating VFR conditions.
OTOH, the tower controller had me landing with a 22 knot tail wind, so that’s very unrealistic.
Now, off to test your assertion for a second flight!
It’s an “old” problem, but I haven’t had it happen to me in quite some time. Over the last couple of patches, it worked fine. As questionable and hit-or-miss as the accuracy of “live” weather may be, at least it was dynamic flight after flight. I could do multiple flights without the live weather resetting and locking itself to default. I was playing earlier in the day and all was fine. Did multiple flights with no weather issues.
But since the patch, it’s gone back to resetting to “default” weather after the first flight. I can manually set it to whatever I want, but that’s not what it should be doing. The only way to fix it is to shut down the game and restart it.
This is now happening to me. Weather has been working well until the latest patch. Now I only get live weather for the first flight.
Same here. Things with live weather have been working fine lately but all of a sudden for no reason had some issue today. First test flight in Japan…everything is fine. picture perfect 10/10. Exit the sim. Come back 2 hour later. Spawn somewhere in Europe. Weather now is absolutely wrong. Signed in and out few times. Didn’t fix. Restarted the sim. Didn’t fix. Signed in and out of xbox companion app. Didn’t fix. Signed out of Windows 10 and started again. This time live weather is back. I’ll bet 5 dollars Asobo and Meteoblue are doing their job but it’s the Xbox/MIcrosoft side CDN system that sometimes forgets to do its job.
This problem also appeared for me a few days ago… highly annoying.

Same problem here…and I guess for everyone! The weather works on the first flight and if you continue after the landing and don’t go back to the main menu!
So if you have enough time and make a “rally” with the same plane it works fine…

Read the instructions carefully on how to set up the initial conditions. If you don’t do that, it doesn’t work.
