My part of the UK is currently in something like that. It’s been overcast for 2-3 weeks now. I’ve forgotten what the sun is like. ![]()
im trying to find out about automated system at LRCT, its a military airbase with F 16 squadron , there is a military meteorology personal out there but i don t know details about the data avalabile to public METARs .
Live weather does not work for me - northern europe server.
Wanted to take off from EPWA, metar: EPWA 230900Z 27015KT 9999 BKN012 06/04 Q1007 BECMG SCT012 BKN015
In the sim it is clear skies, no wind, QNH 29.92 (should be 29.74).
Im having the same issue with weather currently. Looking out my window and its raining, foggy and cold, but when I spawn in the sim its clear skies and zero wind
Hi folks,
We are aware of users reporting issues with Live Weather in MSFS 2020. This has been escalated to the appropriate team and will be investigated.
We’ll ensure to keep players up to date on any changes!
Thanks
The MSFS Team
Clouds came back for me, but the temperature is wrong (+19*C instead of +6), there is no wind and QNH is still wrong.
Yep same for me: no winds and pressure. But clouds are there. (2020)
EDIT: I guess it’s only kind of fog on the ground (or very low clouds) which is shown. See no clouds enroute.
Thanks for the info.
May I add that this is not only in MS2020, but also in MS2024
Loading into the airport gives me clear nice sunny skies, but the METAR is this:
LSZR 230825Z 2309/2318 VRB02KT 9999 FEW065 BKN080 PROB40 TEMPO 2311/2315 27010KT
its supposed to be cloudy
Still no live weather for MSFS 2020.
It’s very disappointing that live weather keeps going down due to server issues — it feels like they can’t even handle the basics.
I can understand your frustration here and we thank you for your patience while it was looked into. This looks to have potentially been an external issue with Meteoblue, which was escalated by our team for their own investigation.
The MSFS Team
Any news on this @chewwy94? Yesterday I was still in Mumbai and the METAR showed a visibility of 2500m, as is typical of the largest cities in India. However, on MSFS24 I could see the horizon in the distance. Switching between real weather (online) and the clear sky preset (offline), the only thing that changes is the barymetric pressure. Can we improve this, Asobo team?
check again please , ive seen this . which is BKN high alt for sure
and the sim renders LOW cumulus clouds as always .
“ SCT200 “ from last metar
hope to one of the managers see this , if not . nobody cares about this ![]()
Low vis at ground level not working.
