I fly jetliners and with live weather on i struggle to get over 22000ft The sim thinks im at 40000ft + hence no lift, Also ATC thinks im 1000ft below or above than what i actually am at , Also my airspeed will increase or drop 100kts in a second LOL
Yep, live weather is cooked, the pressures are all wrong - so VATSIM / IVAO is unusable, not to mention it thinks it’s +70 degrees Celsius at insanely high altitudes as well. Sim is broken.
How ever can you seriously fly an airliner without knowing the exact weather on you route an at your desination airport??
The “weatherforcast” in MSFS does and did NEVER allow to plan a flight !
How lovely where the times in P3D, when you where able to use Activ Sky!
That`s why we need 3rd party weather,Asobo told us countless time they will fix.And now?All hell let loos. They still refuse let the 3rd party weather developer join in and help.Every thing like back to FSX time using awful NOAA date to fly.
Can confirm on my end. This is a huge mistake. Asobo was told the 27th for Xbox launch, they probably told Microsoft they couldn’t do it, so they rushed it out for release. I submitting a help desk ticket just hoping they will take a look at their own forums sometime today.
The issue was introduced recently, but definitely before SU5, so it’s a server side issue. Which also makes the discussion about a patch somewhat pointless.
Well either way it needs to be sorted bro..I use the in sim ATC flying passenger jets and since SU5 im either 1000ft below or above the Alt im at.. This has only been a issue since SU5 for me.
Don’t hold your breath, we probably will not see any update until next week sometime. It is the weekend and I am sure the devs all went home. Heck we have not even seen an acknowledgement of the issue.
