yep, my jaw literally dropped with this answer… I was expecting something around “yes we had a bug, or we didn’t finished something else that depends on it etc… will be fixed for the next patch”… but NO!!
How on earth can this happen with the following claims:
- 2024 will not cause any regression compared to 2020
- VATSIM is a MSFS partner
- They have a fleet of various testers, pilots etc
- They are in communication with partners and developers
How comes there was no single person to stand-up and say… “Hello, this is broken!” ???
So many people were in fear , and I will admit that when the history weather feature was revealed I immediately dismissed my thought that this could happen,
felt very illogical right? so wrong…
Yes, a fix/workaround/partial fix should come ASAP, not in a sim-update down the road. Some regressions are simply a showstoppers, and this is one of them.
