Whats going on? How dod they manage to screw this up?

Nope.
Idea: It has to do with the not-working XBOX-Network-Connection (Shows as online, cant chose any servers). As far as I know they connect the weather data somehow to the servers you are connected with.
Being connected through windows xbox-app - no problems. In sim no chance to connect.
