Liveries are broken after Update 5 (A320) - Can Only Have One Installed

Not much else to say… right now you can have one A320 livery installed only, otherwise it will choose one for you (seems like the last one you used) and you’re stuck with it. I’ve done all the community folder shenanigans and uninstalling I know how to try.

Thread in the liveries section here: Unable to change liveries (A320) after update

Mine were gone after the update, too. I updated everything within the content manager and -boom- back they were.

Yep, can confirm now. Thanks OP

I clarified the thread title… A320 liveries not working. I don’t have liveries for other planes installed. Updated via content manager and no change.

The issue isn’t whether they show up; the issue is they don’t load the right livery

That is exactly what I was going to say - it sees them and lists them but doesn’t apply it to the aircraft when selected.

It’s like it’s setting a preference flag for the previously selected livery and then not updating that when choosing a new one. If liveries are working for other users on other planes, I assume this is a config issue, otherwise, Asobo broke it. Based on precedent, I’m more confident in the latter.

My liveries will not change either. Charles

One livery will work. If you have EasyJet in your community folder you can use it but any additional liveries will load as EasyJet until you remove them all and put one single other livery in the community folder.

Someone has just said that enabling Dev Mode might fix it.

Confirmed have this. Seems the sim can’t load in the livery. the selections are there and the name but it doesn’t load.

I had dev mode enabled when I first had the problem and since disabled it with no luck. I have not tried re-enabling this but it seems unlikely to me that this would help.

rip… that’s annoying…

apparently it works for some?

Hold up!

  1. enable dev mode
  2. open a new project
  3. go to aircraft editor
  4. Press file > resync
  5. LIVERIESSSSS

Yes, but you have to keep dev mode open and press resync every time you swap a livery. This is unacceptable.

How do I get to aircraft editor? I don’t see it after I open a new project

I noticed this also with the A320 and the B747. Seems to be related to having a MODEL folder with the repaint.

Every B747 with the MODEL folder loaded it’s livery fine. Those without all failed.
