Loading a Flightplan into the G1000?

Hello!
At this time it is only possible to load a preplanned (with LittleNavmap for example) flightplan into the G1000 via the main menu in the worldmap. Or by entering it wpt for wpt, which could be exhausting sometimes.

Is it planned to get a load function? So that we can save a pln file in a specific folder and load it in-sim into the G1000?

I accidently deleted my preloaded plan and it was made via LittleNavmap. It consisted of coordinates, so very hard to enter. A load function would be awesome.

Thank you

Not sure what format Little NavMap exports to, but SimBrief lets you download the pln file. You can load this on the World Map and when you get into the cockpit the avionics will already have whatever flight plan you chose loaded in.

Check out SimToolkitPro as it also has native SimBrief support, which I don’t think LNM has.

Yes, you can load PLN files saved in little nav map. There can be issues with procedures in the flight plan if there is a discrepancy between the MSFS database and little nav map databse. Other than that it works well.

Yes - as I said - this is the only way currently. But I want to know if it is planned to get a load function to load the flightplan in-sim - when inside the cockpit.

Ah, fair enough. Haven’t heard of anything like that yet. And you won’t get a response from devs here. Best thing to do would be to submit a post on the #self-service:wishlist section.

Ah, thank you very much! Didnt know this forum section. Will post it in there.

That would be a nice addition, since you can actually import flight plans through an SD card:

Let us know when you create your wishlist post, I will definitely vote.

I already posted in the wishlist section. Please vote, thank you.

I cant load flightplans or enter anything manually, as soon as i press enter it deletes anything i entered
