ISSUE DESCRIPTION
- Description of the issue:
Loading into an aircraft I always get blurry aircraft cockpit textures.
It takes a full 5-10 minutes for all the cockpit and external scenery textures to load and I have a 250 Gbps down internet connection.
Doesn’t matter if I have flown the same aircraft before.
Also if you go to external view for a while and then come back into the cockpit all the textures are blurry again.
- Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
Yes
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
How often does this occur for you? (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently). Always
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue.
- Just load into A310 or other airliner on a runway in the cockpit

I just did a test with the A320 and A330 at two international airports. I’d not used either aircraft or airport before.
Load time from main menu to ready to fly was 25 seconds. Yesterday it was around 45 seconds so today is faster.
I have a 1gbps connection but most of the loading time was spent at a few kbps with two spikes, one at 22mbps and the other at 45mbps. This was using a (theoretically) pro app for measuring network usage so I’d hope it was accurate. I only downloaded it for this test because my router did report fast enough to show the spikes.
So it is a bit hard to understand how yours is so slow! My PC is in the “Ideal” specs range so maybe yours is minimum spec?
If you load in a second time using the same aircraft at the same airport, is it just as slow? If it is, it shouldn’t be bandwidth because the data is supposed to be cached.
Did you load on the runway or at a stand ? Did you see any cockpit bluriness on the instruments ?
I have a 250 Gbps down internet connection.
Doesn’t matter if I have flown the same aircraft before, same problem.
I have a 7800 X3D, RTX 4090, 32 GB 6006 DDR5 ram, so hardly minimum spec.
Seems ok. Mines an Intel chip and I have 64GB or RAM but it uses a fraction of that.
So, dunno. Our experiences seem to differ by a lot and I’m not sure what Asobo would need to troubleshoot it because it obviously can be fast. Hopefully their server logs give a clue.

i’ve loaded into a cockpit with ALL textures missing! the interior was completely grey and might have even been a different LOD because the round gauges were octagons. sitting there for a minute or 2 let the textures finally load in. and, i had used this plane before. so much for the big cache.
I get randomly missing textures at random times regardless of which plane I’m in. I was just in the twin otter and the floor was pink, last night all the dials were blurry, you never know what you are going to get when load in an aircraft. It isn’t just to do with bandwith either, I’ve had it happen even when the sim loads quickly and there are no bandwith warnings. It’s very frustrating.
I get no bandwidth warnings at all but every time I load (the same plane at the same airport every time too!) I am missing cockpit textures and scenery textures/geometry.
I have Starlink also as an ISP with good speed {200ish}
