The texutures look totally flat and detail-less. Go to the Marketplace and look at the small images of the JU 52 and then go and look at the images of the Condor.
The landing gear, cockpit and control textures look much less detailed.
As I said, “what appears to be”. I’d like, very much, for it to just be the quality of the screenshots.
Maybe it is a 4K thing? I thought you were on a different resolution to me.

After short flight at Malaga starting c&d, I find it actually quite nice over all for the price 9,99.
I don’t quite understand the criticism, surely all planes need some tuning at some places, this is no exception.

Hello @NixonRedgrave,
Unfortunately, it looks like the Marketplace used an older pre-release version of the Fw 200 interior for that image. Here’s a screenshot taken just now (trying to match the camera angle for a direct apples-to-apples comparison) from the release version of the plane. We’ve already sent a note to the Marketplace Team to update the image.
Thanks,
MSFS Team

The pictures that CpMoustache posted are from the actual plane, not thumbnails from the Marketplace and they look very flat and dull.
I would invite the MSFS team to compare these texturing job to the one in the Ju52 and hopefully you will realize it is a huge step backwards.
The model and textures in the pedestal of the Fw200 look like a freeware conversion from FSX compared to the pedestal of the Ju52.

Thank you, that is an excellent video for an excellent project!
I do wonder why the cockpit in the restorated version is quite different from the one in the simulator? The colors and guages seems to be quite different, from about 5:40 in the video.

I’m limited to 5 pics per post so sorry if this appears to be spam

This plane would’ve deserved way better modeling and handling. Disappointing. On the other hand, seeing some of the comparison comments kind of confirms that the JU-52 is actually very good? Because I was eyeing that one. Or only good compared to this?

It was the first and is still fantastic.

Indeed. It set a bar they’ve rarely attained. The first ones did seem to be regularly better. Lately they’ve been pretty bad ('copters not included as I haven’t bought those)

I’ll admit I’m tempted to buy this one simply because MS put money into making the real thing museum worthy and I do want to encourage that kind of thing.
From what I can see so far, those black prop discs look really bothersome though.
I’ll assume there’s no hobbs meter or the like… I know, that’s a “me” thing.
- Can anyone verify how it looks in VR?
- Is fuel consumption accurate?
- How’s the cruise altitude, speed, range etc. I’m having traumatic memories of the Boeing 307 here…
- very importantly, I’d love to know if it’ll work with the autopilot in the GTN750?

It’s all about the choice of devs for the projects and we were unlucky that many of them were assigned to AH or Inibuilds.
AH will always deliver beautiful models, inside and outside but the systems are usually all wrong and the flight model is also wrong at least in most of their planes.
Ini can sometimes do good things like the Saab or the Skyvan, nothing spectacular but they are very good and sometimes they can really drop the ball badly like the Mu2.
Bluemesh and ATsimulations delivered some of the best add-ons for MS witht the L631 and the An-2 but unfortunately we didn’t get more from those devs.
Oliver Moses was on the same list as Bluemesh and ATSimulations until this…

Yes … why is the whole cockpit this weird shade of yellow/green? I’ve never seen a real cockpit looking like this. Especially when the real deal that this is based on has a black and grey cockpit?

Let’s hope it sees some fixes. Hope isn’t gone yet. It’s not like this is AH with their repeated problems. /patience /breathe
