Brief description of the issue:

The Beech 18 has a Reverse Propeller Pitch, but there is no backward thrust. The aircraft moves forward.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

taxi, brake, activate Reverse Pitch, release brake and observe forward thrust.

I have never seen or heard of a Beech 18 with radials and reverse. The turboprop ones had it, but not the radials. It has been many years ago since I flew one, so I checked with a r/w 18 pilot / mechanic. He never heard of it either.

I added a video. Could you tell me what I did? You could see at the end that the engine goes out with idle throttle and “reverse” propellers and when I change the propellers from reverse to normal you can see the change in pitch.
