Local legends canada

Jorg said they decided to do a “swap”. Meaning, the C195 was originally intended to be in the Anniversary Edition. They instead put the Beaver in (which you now get for free) and the C195 was pulled out instead.

So the complaint is, that the aircraft was not actually Canadian. So would you instead have preferred them to in 2 months time try and develop some other Canadian plane, and release it in a really horrible state? Because 2 months to produce a plane from scratch is unrealistic. You would have gotten something that most things were non-functional and had plenty of bugs. How would that have shown respect to Canada?

Or maybe since the Beaver was so important to be in the Anniversary Edition, but the decision made to not pull out the C195, that maybe they just cancel the Local Legend for Canada. That would then have Canadians saying that was disrespectful.

A couple World Updates ago, the plane that was intended to be the Local Legend, the licensing agreement hadn’t been signed yet, so that particular plane couldn’t be released, so they pulled in a different plane instead. There wasn’t such the outrage then. People understood that hey, things didn’t work out like they were originally planned.

The whole controversy comes from the fact that the Beaver was moved into the Anniversary Edition. As a Canadian, aren’t you proud that EVERYONE gets to experience the Beaver. Canada’s most iconic plane. And they get to experience it for free. And from one of the best developers around, Milviz. I mean stop and think about it. If you got the Beaver as a Local Legend, it probably would have come from Carenado again. But instead you are getting an incredibly detailed Beaver from Milviz. And everyone gets to celebrate Canada.

I think people need to look at the bigger picture.
