Locked out of marketplace...AGAIN!

Why oh why does this keep happening to me? Its doing my head in!

I tried to buy Hobart as it is on sale. Firstly when i went to purchase I had to cancel because it was not showing the sale price. Then it froze me out of buying anything!

if you didnt purchase it, i suggest restarting pc and xbox and fs again. a greyed out button happens after a a purchase that failed or a request for refund, It happens because someone has to manually inspect what went wrong. try that…

Not always, no.
There are some conditions that the user can alleviate, which will reset the grayed out button.
Often this is in the users profile, but there are PC settings that can cause this as well!

Tried restarting but no dice. I cancelled the transaction using the supplied method but it lock d me out.

Also surprised it wasn’t taking off the sale discount either which is why I cancelled.

thats what happened to me during black friday. the erj was 50% off but i was charged full price on paypal, i requested a refund and got it immediatly but it took 2 weeks before i was asked to download a small update which fixed the greyed out button. after i emailed and also sent in a message about the whole situation. another time i selected buy but cancelled before the transaction was started, also a greyed out button, but i just had to sign out and sign in to fix that, because i hadnt clicked buy on paypal, other situations can also be at play, server issues, marketplace down but thats another story

Raise an official support ticket via zendesk so they can check your account:

I had a similar issue with purchase pending and purchase cancellations. I took the advice on another thread and did NOT sign in as administrator. My purchase went through without issue. Hope you get sorted…
