How does one lock in a selected altitude now? I don’t like using the my mouse wheel to select stuff. Is there a work around so that I can get back to clickable panel knobs for this?

I found a solution from a Facebook post. you go into General option then choose Accessibility and then in Cockpit Interaction System option change to Legacy. Problem solved!
This is great, thanks! I was having exactly the same issue. I can’t belive such an important action of pushing or pulling a button is ignored in the new control system.
