The logbook is a mystery to me. Very often, especially when I’m flying there and back, airports are not recorded. The arrival airport is not displayed on the outbound flight and the departure airport on the return flight. Only the departure airport from the first flight and the identical destination airport on the return flight, in this case LOWW. However, the flight time is correct. Does anyone know what the problem is?

There is a bug report here:
I’m not 100% sure, but I believe it often or only picks up landing if you walk through the landing with ATC completely.
Now this is my experience, and the (probably) odd way I use ATC. Aside from rare occasions, mine picks up. The occasions it does not are if I do a stop and go. I suspect the reason is that unless you manually control ATC, it always defaults to full stop landing. One of the assists I use is ATC. Without that full stop landing I think it doesn’t record my stop and goes. Again, apologies, I have not thoroughly tested it, but I have noticed it pretty much always works fine if I do a normal point to point full stop flight.
I’m actually mildly curious if someone debunks my whole theory here.
Don’t think logbooks record multiple destinations without exiting the gameplay. It only shows initial departure and final arrival but not any intermittent stopovers in between. I do think it should count landings though. Once main touches ground it should pick up a landing, but it usually ignores the following takeoffs.
I always do complete landings, then taxi to the gate and switch off the engines. Exactly the same on the return flight. And I always follow the ATC. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, that’s the strange thing.
What’s really strange is that until about 2 months ago it worked that airports were registered on outbound and return flights without leaving the simulator. Only recently has the first destination airport = second departure airport been skipped. It would be really nice if this worked again, because restarting the return flight every time on its own is not only tedious but also unrealistic because it is one continuous trip.
