Everything was working great until yesterday. When I went to fly I got this message “Unable to resolve system paths” with the header of “Logitech Flight simulator Plug installer” on the message box. So I went on the internet and did what a couple of people suggested. No luck. So I am coming to the font of knowledge and asking how do I solve this problem? This was after the latest update from Microsoft.
Here is what the xml/exe file says in Local Cache
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>
<SimBase.Document Type=“SimConnect” version=“1,0”>

I am not a coding expert and my knowledge of programming is minimal. Any suggestions???
I am running FS2020 on an internal SAMSUNG 980 PRO 500GB PCIe NVMe Gen4 Internal Gaming SSD M.2 (MZ-V8P500B) FWIW. Thanks in advance for any and all help.
I have not been able to use any of my Logitech panels since Microsoft updated FS2020 and Windows 10. I have communicated with Logitech tech support but so far no answers. I get the message “Unable to resolve system paths” . Is anyone else having the same or similar problems with their Logitech flight panels? Yesterday, a good friend who is a programmer, came by and just scratched his head and he taught programming in college. See above post ^^^ for more info. Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions or help. This has been going on for more that two weeks. The people at Logitech are very good and very easy to talk to (via Emails) but…I want to use my panels. Be safe!!
After 14 hours I finally got the problem solved!!! It was a corrupted “document” folder in Windows 10. I got it all sorted out and FS2020 is again working with my Logitech flight panels. YEA!
Hola. Al final… cómo resolviste el problema??? Gracias.-
Thanks for asking. I redid my document folder from a backup I had of it. Then everything worked GREAT.
Gracias por preguntar. Rehice mi carpeta de documentos de una copia de seguridad que tenía. Entonces todo funcionó MUY BIEN.
Sorry for pulling this one from 2021
The same problem popped up here with my installation
Logitech Flight simulator Plug installer - Unable to resolve system paths
Thanks to this post I could indeed figure out that I deleted a drive, for GPT conversion, where the Windows (user) documents were stored previously. It’s now back and fully functioning again.
Hello Flightjox!
I have the same problem today 14th Oct 2023
What document folder in windows do you mean?
can not find a document folder under C:\windows ??
Hello, I now have the same problem. Logitech switch panel not working at all in MSFS. It used to work when I clicked the Logitech plug in icon. Now I get message “Unable to resolve system paths” when I click the icon. The switch panel responds correctly with the Logitech test software but not in MSFS. My documents folder appears normal. Any help much appreciated, thanks, Paul
HI.
THIS HAS BEEN DRIVING ME NUTS.
Could you explain HOW / WHAT you did to resolve this error.
I am reasonably techy but not THAT techy.
Appreciate your help.
I had a backup of my document folder in Windows 10. Do you have a backup document folder? Are you on Windows 10? I was able to use the backup folder and thereby getting the controls to work.
Hi.
I MIGHT have a backup document folder, (or I might not.)
I have no idea where to look and what to do even if I DO have a backup doc folder.
I am on win 11 (and cant apparantly revert to win 10)
I feel as if I am close to getting this flipping thing to work but it is really irritatingm I had no idea it would be THIS DIFFICULT,
Again if you could help that would be great…
Janet and John stuff, ie step by step.
Appreciate your time …Thanks
