Logitech Flight Yoke

Hello,

I have bought a Logitech Flight Yoke to my son.

Today he installed Flight Simulator 40th anniversary on his Pc.

We now have some problems that I hope some of you maybe can solve.

I have spent all day trying the Flight Yoke to run properly. The steering wheel works but I can not figure out how to get the throttle running.
I have installed uppdates from Logitech.
When I use the app from Logitech and use the steering wheel the app respond on my commands. But when I do the same with the throttle there is no response.

My english is not the best🙄. I hope you understand my language and maybe can help me out.

Johan

Obvious first steps , but I’ll say them anyway:

  1. unplug and replug the throttle into the yoke.
  2. Try plugging the yoke into a powered USB hub

Hi
If you don’t get it to work, send me a PM,I speak german and english.

Scott

What commands did you map to the throttles?

I’ve never had much luck with the Logitech app. I just use the Flightsim mappings to assign functions.

Logitech controllers are often quite fussy with MSFS.
I would recommend you download and use this calibration tool first.

If you need any help with tool, (it isn’t too intuitive) let us know.

I watched the link. The throttle I have is Logitech Flight Throttle Quadrant Speeder PC. Can I calibrate it on the homepage or is it only ”foot-throttles”?

It will calibrate all Logitech devices.

With the calibration tool running, turn your yoke and see which box on the display responds.
Right click on that box and select “View Raw Data”
Once the raw data is displayed, right click the box again and select “Calibration”

Ensure the Min, Center, and Max values in the calibration display have the corresponding raw data values.

I have tried the link. The steering works. But the throttle is not working at all.

Does your throttle plug into the yoke or directly to PC?

I plug it into the yoke.

Does the calibration tool recognize the throttle lever movements?
If so, what command in the sim is the throttle linked to?

The tool does not recognize the throttle at all.

As it is plugged into the yoke, the display box will not show the word throttle.
You will have to look at the boxes and discover which axis is moving when you move the lever.

No axes is moving when I move the leverer.

I have this quadrant with my Logitech Flight Yoke, the sim should detect each axis natively without installing the Logitech drivers or control panel software:

are you plugged into a hub or the main pc? is the green light on on the throttle? is the yoke powered? ( clock working)

It is plugged into the yoke and there is a green light shining on the throttle. The steering works when my son plays MFS but not the throttle.

In the calibration tool, do any of the throttle’s levers show movement?

Go into MSFS control options and you should see the yoke listed ( throttle are not listed they are integrated with yoke)
select the yoke and then click “search by input” and waggle a lever should tell you what axis it is or what its bound to

When I ”search by input” everything on the yoke works. But when I move the levers on the throttle nothing happens.
Maybe the throttle is broken eventhough there is a green light. Do you think I should go to the shop and get another throttle?
