Does someone know if it is possible to change the additionally displayed ‘VS’ on the standard ‘ALT’ Display to something else?
I would like it to have IAS there instead of VS.
Not talking about the actual values, those are no problem to change with Spad.
Just this ‘always on’ combination of ALT and VS on the ALT ‘page’ of the multipanel.
I’ve never tried to be honest. I’ll have a look at the SPAD config tonight. Those two values are shown when the left rotary is set to either ALT or VS. We may be at the mercy of what SPAD can allow us to change. I know it can do IAS when you have IAS selected, I just don’t know whether that can be displayed elsewhere.
They are pretty flexible though. As an exercise, I decided to make one of my radio panels display a radar altimeter output, even though the plane I was flying doesn’t have it. Its just a simvar to be displayed, and it worked really well, so who knows.
The values on the right side of the display are completly flexible with Spad.
No problem to display IAS or HDG readings under VS or somewhere else.
But I would like to change the text ‚VS‘ on the left side of the display.
I usually don’t use the rotary selector any more (I use the X-Touch Mini to dial the values in), and would like to see my selected altitude and speed on this first ALT page.
And for that, this branded VS on the left side does not fit 
Yes, that’s the bit I’m unsure about. I’m sure you can get it to display anything you like instead of VS, but it might still have to have VS displayed there no matter what you choose. It could be baked in to the firmware, and therefore immutable.

Unfortunately they can’t be changed because they are hardcoded in the panel and therefore the words can’t be changed.
