Logitech radio and multi panel - which one to buy, does multi panel work now?

Hi all, merry christmas!

I’m trying to decide whether to buy a logitech saitek pro flight panel using a voucher I’ve received from santa, I am looking at the radio panel or the multi panel.

320 sim pilot on youtube has the radio panel, seems to love it. I don’t use VATsim but i’m always tempted to try…

I’ve read about the 10 degree bug that affects the multi panel… is this fixed now? I have no interest in buying spad.next to make a £90 product work properly…

I have the TCA sidestick, TCA throttle quadrant, Saitek pro flight pedals. I mostly fly the Baron G58, TBM930, A32NX.

Any advice welcome!

I have the Multi panel mounted on my HC Alpha, and the radio panel mounted on my HC Bravo. I don’t use Vatsim, but I use Pilot2ATC. I can’t say which is better, since I use them both.

The 10 degree bug has been fixed for quite a while now.

can confirm. Also use the Radio Panel and the Multipanel. Both work fine.

Then your 90€ Product will not work properly for most aircraft besides default ones.

I see, can you explain further?

320 sim pilot seems to use his with the A32NX with no issues (I don’t believe he uses spad.next but perhaps he does…?)

And as I use the base sim TBM and Baron I assume they’ll be fine?

@JollyGreen8206 @Archer374 please could you share with me what aircraft you regularly fly using the panels? Just to confirm how wide the compatibility is?

I’ve got both the switch panel and multi panel. They’re both great and really add something to your enjoyment of the sim. In the past they have been a source of CTD but they seem to be working ok now.

I’m mainly flying GA. JF Arrow, BN Islander, C152.
With some aircraft the displays do not always work and remain blank

It’s not just that it won’t work well with some aircraft (WT CJ4, FBW A320), by using SPAD you can get much much more functionality out of the radio panel than its basic configuration.

It have various profiles depending on the aircraft, but I can use the radio panel to set barometers and transponders, control the G1000 and other avionics, display engine data etc.

Arguably the Multi Panel is the most useful as autopilot workflow is more critical to aviating and really helps work the aircraft when flying on vatsim (I have all three panels and would hate to fly without them).

I have the multi-panel and radio stack and use them with Spad Next.

Primarily I fly the TBM and Longitue, they work great. 10 degree bug has been gone fo awhile now.

If you use P2A or Vatsim, these are a must have.

I do both.

I have the multi-panel. Seems to work fine with most aircraft (though I fly mostly the stock ones). I would really hate to do without it after using it for some time.

Okay folks, thanks so much. So it sounds like I should go for either and just see where it takes me!

Has anyone gotten the multi panel working with the CRJ in regards to altitude on the autopilot?

The alternative view that a few don’t like to hear is spend it on something better. The Saitek stuff is IMHO over priced for what it is if buying at new retail prices.

I have both and love them. I also use Axis and Ohs which I purchased for Streamdeck use, but this offers much better functionality with the Logitech panels.
