I have a Flight Instrument Panel which seems to work. I’m using the current Logitech driver (12/29/2000) and don’t have any of the USB power problems folks are mentioning. I can cycle through different displays with the up/down buttons on the bottom of the panel but the two knobs and the S1-S6 buttons on the side seem totally without purpose. What am I missing here? Are those buttons supposed to do anything?
I have 3 FIPs and only the parking brake and push back seem to work. Reading through some related post, I found others using a 3rd party option called Spad.next (https://www.spadnext.com) that replaces the Logitech plugin. It allows you to assign functions to the buttons and a bunch of other stuff. Supports other hardware such as the Multipanel, Radio, yokes, pedals and several other devices. It comes with a 14 day trial and $30 USD to purchase. Has a bit of a learning curve but after getting a handle on it you’ll be hooked.
