Logitech/Saitek MSFS Plugin - have to start manually every time now?

Apologies if this is “old hat”, but I couldn’t see anything relevant to help me just now on this Forum.
I switched to a new PC a week ago, and whilst MSFS runs very well on the new machine, I always have to manually start the Logitech MSFS Plugin - on my old PC I never had to do this - it seemed to load automatically whenever I started MSFS.
The other thing I find now is that to get the Radio panels to work, I have to unplug them and then plug them back in when I am in the cockpit about to take off - if I don’t do this, they do not light up or do anything at all.
I have two radio panels, the multi panel, and 3 FIPs, in case this is information relevant.
As I have not flown for a month or so, is this to do with SU9, or am I being particularly stupid (quite likely!)?
If anyone can help me, or point me towards another thread that will help, it would be much appreciated.
Regards, Alasdair (aka Flybasher…)
