Logitech/Saitek MSFS Plugin - have to start manually every time?

Apologies if this is “old hat”, but I couldn’t see anything relevant to help me just now on this Forum.
Also apologies if you have seen this post before, which I originally put in “Third Party Discussion/Hardware”, but now realise this was probably not the best place for it - hence my posting it here now.
I switched to a new PC a week ago, and whilst MSFS runs very well on the new machine, I always have to manually start the Logitech MSFS Plugin - on my old PC I never had to do this - it seemed to load automatically whenever I started MSFS.
The other thing I find now is that to get the Radio panels to work, I have to unplug them and then plug them back in when I am in the cockpit about to take off - if I don’t do this, they do not light up or do anything at all.
I have 2 x radio panels, the multi panel, and 3 x FIPs, in case this is information relevant.
As I have not flown for a month or so, is this to do with SU9, or am I being particularly stupid (quite likely!)?
If anyone can help me, or point me towards another thread that will help, it would be much appreciated.

Have you tried just uninstalling the plugin and re-installing it?

The driver is finicky.

Hi skypilotYTS - thanks for the reply. I will give this a go and see what happens.

Hi

mine started the have similar issues and in the end I went for SPAD drivers / software and so far so good.

The Saitek radio panel didn’t work in the past, so it worked when I reinstalled the drive. I think it was like that after installing Fenix 320 and pmdg 737. But after updating pmdg 737 yesterday, the radio panel is not working again. It works well on a radio test program. Asobo should be investigated There is something wrong with 2020.

Hi JoshBear - I may decide to go down the SpadNext route, but my advancing years mean I take a long time to work out how to use anything new!
So want to exhaust other possibilities first.
If I do go the SpadNext route, I will update this thread with my progress.

Hi ZH - as skypilotYTS suggested, I have deleted and reinstalled the drivers, and this seems to work most of the time, but I still have to unplug the USBs and then plug them back in again sometimes.
This however is not too much of a burden - at least both the radio panels now work together OK (they didn’t when I first connected them up shortly after MSFS was released).

I was using the radio panel usb connected to a USB hub. After the problem, I connected it to another USB port, and the radio panel is now working well.

My exe.xml file looks like this after installing Honeycomb AFC_Bridge for my Bravo TQ, then adding the Logitech driver for MSFS (radio panel):

<SimBase.Document Type=“SimConnect” version=“1,0”>
SimConnect
SimConnect.xml
False
<Launch.Addon>
Logitech Microsoft Flight Simulator Plugin
False
C:\Program Files\Logitech\Microsoft Flight Simulator Plugin\LogiMicrosoftFlightSimulator.exe
-r
</Launch.Addon>
<Launch.Addon>
AFCBridge
False
K:\MSFS 2020\community\AFC_Bridge\bin\AFC_Bridge.exe
</Launch.Addon>
</SimBase.Document>

AFC_Bridge alone worked flawlessly for a year and a half until I installed the Logitech driver. Now, neither starts automatically. I have to manually execute the Logitech driver, then start the sim TWICE to get the Bravo lights to show up. Is this line the problem loading the Logitech driver:

“-r”
