Logitech X56 issues after pressing ESC button

Hi, I’ve got some issues with my new X56.
If I start a flight session with any aircraft on the ground, if I have to hit the ESC key, when I come back to the flight the throttle that is in idle position (0%) goes suddenly to 50%, so i have to move phisically the throttle to get the idle power…
I think I’ve tried almost anything, I have a powered USB hub, I’ve tried to reinstall drivers, unplug and replug in differents ports, but the problem remains.

Another issue is in both rotary wheels in the throttle… they have a center position that doesnt correspond to the center in the simulator (and in windows 10 too). I mean this is what I see if I set them on the center position:

Can you help me please?

It’s not you. It’s a sim bug. About all you can do right now is be aware of it and prepared for some of your controls to go to 50%. For me, it’s throttles, speed brake and brakes. Others have reported flaps doing the same thing. Hopefully it will have been addressed in SU4 due out on the 25th.

Maybe the first issue could be a sim bug, but I dont think the same for the second… this is the situation of the logitech app, rotary knob in the center position:

Do you have any other hardware connected that also has a binding to the throttle? I had this issue with the Thrustmaster TCA quadrant before on the Spoilers and Flaps axis, but that’s because I have those axis bound, but I don’t have the flaps and spoilers hardware connected. So it’s feeding the sim with phantom inputs coming from a nonexistent hardware. I removed the bindings, and I can ESC and resume at anytime without it affecting the flaps and spoilers mid-flight.

But this can also happen when you have conflicting controls feeding the sim with the throttle position even though your X56 throttle is already on a different position.

The best way I can think of, is to clear every binding for every hardware controls that you have, and test by just having the throttle axis on the X56 and nothing else. And test it out. At least we need to isolate the problem by eliminating anything else that might have causing it.

Thank you for you suggestions, I’ve found that the problem is the X56 stick! I’ve unplugged it and the throttle keeps the idle position when I resume the flight after ESC button.
Now I have to find the supposed conflict with the stick… I’ve duplicated the stick profile and deleted all bindings but the problem is still there… Really dont understand… maybe is really a bug like MikeB54331 said… Any other suggestion?

And what about the rotaries problem? I think this could be a factory problem…

This isn’t simply an issue with your specific hardware. This is a known “global” bug that was introduced in a recent update (a month or more ago?)

Exit to menu (ESC) will result in axis reset to 50%

There is at least one thread discussing this but please also open a Zendesk support ticket for this as it is really the best way to bring the issue to the attention of the Devs.

As a workaround. Keep your hands ready to quickly shift your axes around once you return from menu…

I have asked the replacement to Amazon, and the new one is ok… so that was a factory issue.
For the ESC problem, it’s solved by the last update of Msfs2020, as some of you said.
Thank you to all!!
