Long VFR flight, have to land and refuel

So I did. Requested for fuel (put 80% into my Cessna 172)…but then I cannot start the engine anymore.
When I use CTRL-E I can hear the click…but nothing happens
What is wrong? Any Idea?

Did you check the payload just to make sure you did actually get fuel and it did not bug out and remove it?

I only requested for fuel (CTRL-F) nothing more

I don’t know what CTRL e is doing overall. So what happens when you try to start the engine with the cockpit controls, like you would do in RL?

I can’t do long hauls yet because cockpit screens going out and Sim crasheding hopefully they fixed it soon for Xbox series x and s

I believe once you’ve completed flight and down, just refuel without turning off engines. I believe once off your done regardless, a sim thing. If your following rules for fuel use etc. just take note of 1st load amounts and the 2nd then compute your reserves

Strange. Made this a few days ago with the Vertigo and it worked. Landed, taxi to fueling station, switch the enginge off, refuel, starting the engine again and go.
I would guess you forgott something. But not quite sure what it could be. Fuelswitch is on?..

Have you gone through the checklist rather than just ctrl+e?

‘Pretend’ you’ve refulled by turning on unlimited fuel?
