Not to spoil your happiness, but I recommend to get a spare cable right away.
You will hate it, when it stops working, you figure out that they have long lead times and you cannot live without VR flying … just going through this right now

Or get those ceiling mounted cable holders, and once installed don‘t touch the installation anymore.
My G2 sits on my desk (when not in use), cable attached. That way there will be very little stress on the cable and connectors.
At least, this works for me - and I‘ve been flying in VR every day since last x-mas…
yes i have a special place on my desk where my current cv1 sits, it been sitting there for months when i did not use it and nothing comes close to it, so it doesn’t move around, so I will be placing the G2 there as well once this is installed in the next couple of days
