Not to digress, but Michelin stars only go up to 3. So if you’re a 5-Michelin star chef, you must be a pretty darn good one!
(Or maybe you have two restaurants!)
I think the idea of having an interest in aviation is certainly understandable. Whether you’re knowledgeable or not, having an interest could correlate with being more willing to learn about a subject. A few years ago, I applied for a job at a software company that services the restaurant industry, and in my cover letter, I took a few sentences to explain that I was a foodie and had knowledge of how restaurants worked.
