Looking for a short commuter aircraft recommendation

I love starting the MV-22 from cold and dark, and doing a ~30-45 minute flight. My Autopilot/Nav skills are rudimentary, I live on VS and Heading Hold once I’m getting up to flight level.

I’ve tried the ATR, the CRJ and the 310. CRJ felt the closest to the MV-22 for systems I felt comfortable managing.

What would you recommend as a short commuter with easy-ish systems to tackle next?

The CJ4 might be fun for you. It is designed to be operated by a single pilot. The default version in the sim is actually really good.

Second on the CJ4; it’s comfortable to fly solo and the avionics are more similar to the CRJ’s than, say, the HondaJet or the Citation Longitude which have a Garmin setup. Since it got a bunch of avionics & coding updates a few months ago it’s pretty good IMO.

Vision Jet G2 and HondaJet. CJ4 recommendation is good too.

The Islander is also worth considering, pretty simple systems-wise and the quintessential short commuter/island hopper.

Yeah, Vision Jet it is. Even without a checklist I was able to get things running from cold/dark and hop from Ontario to San Luis Obispo. Nice! Thanks for the recomendation!
