Hi there, I don’t have any experience in looking for the right tablet for the MSFS 2020…It’s for the EFB…What do I need to lookout for in terms buying a new Tablet… Any help is greatly appreciated. TIA
I use a mini IPAD for the CDU of the PMDG737. When it gets its EFB, I dare say the IPAD can also be used for that.
Cost. Apple really likes their stuff. Amazon carries “Renewed” products at a very reduced price. Some Samsung models are about $100 now. Then you have to have the software you want to run, search EFB here for that. Many flavors and prices.

I use a MS Surface Go. works great, even as a second display.
I just plug the IPad straight into the USB port in the PC (charge cable) but it doesn’t charge either through a hub or direct. It doesn’t seem to deteriorate in 1-2 hrs flying so no problem with IPad power. Works a treat
What do you guys think about this IPad and would it work with a PC? It’s a MAC version .

Yes, there are some apps I believe on the Play Store. Also Air Manager from siminnovations also connects I think to android. There is probably a lot of other ‘stuff’ too both freeware and payware.
Another thought … If you have any old laptops you could also maybe use these too and save a bit of money. I myself used a couple of old ones with Air Manager a year or so ago
