Added 700+ POIs for Los Angeles: covering Santa Monica Pier, Financial district (US Bank Tower, etc.), Walk of Fame in Hollywood, movie studios including Disney, Universal and Warner Brothers., and many many more: virtually every featured building is included. Explore and enjoy!

It’s also recommended to run msfs-map along-side, so that you can learn more about each POI. (Info is based on Wikipedia)

POI language is English + Chinese.

Installation:
Download from https://flightsim.to/file/82294/los-angeles-pois

Extract to Community folder, and restart sim.

Under the hood:

The source file is also included, you can check src/pois.xml for details of each POI and their coordinates if you are interested.

Change log:

v1.0 Only 100+ POIs

v2.0 Due to advantage of tooling, a log more POIs are added, finally 700+ POIs altogether.

Thank you. These are JUST POI markers? Will it communicate okay with Samscene’s version of Los Angeles, included in their USA Modern Cities Vol.1 pack?

Yes, this is just about markers. (The post title has been refined)

Working with those scenery addons?

Yes, these markers are tested based on those addons. Feedbacks are welcome if any major inconsistencies are found. (Due to the large amount of data and limitation of time, not every POI can be optimized to the best look and feel. The bottom line is making them visible and helpful with identification)
