Is it just me or is anyone else finding they are losing control of the yoke & rudder pedals since Update . Up until the update every thing was working fine for me but now after the update I lose all control & have to press Esc go into controls & back out again to get them back .
Also my rudder pedals seem to be less sensitive. I have to push hard right or left to go that way. Never had to push down that much before the update .
I didn’t install any things else only the update .
Oh I’m using a Honeycomb flight yoke & MFG Crosswind pedals
I solved most of mine by removing double bindings (the stick rudder). But I see differences with the in sim sensitivity settings vs. the control panel apps for the controllers.
I have been getting an occasional throttle failure now. Today I got to practice what would have been a dangerous real life scenario. I had cut throttle, altitude was low, then tried to throttle up without any response.
I was able to get control of the airspeed enough I could then take time to grab the virtual throttle (flying in VR).
Ive noticed that the steering is much less responsive since the update.
Check your settings to see if any pilot assists were turned on.
As mentioned, check for any duplicate bindings.
Another one that seems to be causing some trouble is USB ports going into sleep mode.
Are you in VR? There is some known issue with VR involving the mouse and menus. Perhaps it’s a general issue too. I’m not sure exactly, but it may have to do with a menu being in focus.
I’ve been losing control of both throttle and rudder. I’ve had a couple nasty landings where I had no rudder control and veered off the runway.
Nearly every crash I’ve had in MSFS has been the result of a controller problem of some sort (double binding, fantom signals creating erratic inputs or controls just not responding).
One bad one I had was lowering the throttle would instantly pitch up trim 5% to 10%.
I guess they are keeping us on our toes to deal with aircraft failures.
