Losing control of rudder on landing

Not sure about anyone else but my rudder works fine on taxi and take off and at every landing since SU7 I’ve lost control completely, making it impossible to taxi to the gate.

I’m using Thrustmaster T.Flight Rudder Pedals but it happens with other control commands too on other controls which makes me think it’s a recent MSFS issue. I’ve calibrated but it still persists.

It may, but it also might be a conflict with the other controllers.
What other controllers do you have plugged in?
Did you try with them unplugged?
Is the USB port going to “sleep”?

Land smoother, you should break your direction wheel
More seriously, since SU7, i have this issue too, but only when doing (bad) heavy landing, even if i have removed all options of damages (tested only with Kodiak 100)

I have noticed heavier landings do make it harder than usual to handle as well.

I had a similar issue, but with the ailerons. Everything was ok during my flight in a jet but, suddenly, I was not able to roll to right. I will try again with another aircraft.

Check your sensitivity settings have not been reset. I would even suggest recalibrating just to be certain. Since spraying up my jittery joystick potentiometers apart from a small deadzone I have everything set to or near default, it takes some getting used to but it’s good to get instant reaction from the gear when you need it.

could this be a rudder assistance setting?

I do think the hard landings are the culprit here. I just had a relatively soft landing in the PMP A330 and the rudder worked fine compared to the hard one I had in the B787 with HD mod yesterday.

I’ll keep on doing more testing and subsequently log a ticket on zendesk.

This is what I experienced :

  • After landing in Cockpit view, I lose control of the front wheel/Rudder as soon as the blue ribbon appears after I request a taxi to the gate.
  • Lost the rudder control from my Saitek Pedal or the 0/Enter button on the num keypad
  • I can not switch my camera to the external view using my controler

I solved the problem by switching the camera to the external view using the on-screen menu.

I hope it will work for you.
