Just had this happen to me in the 787. Loss of control of mouse moving the camera, and no inputs from my stick and throttle. I could still move the mouse and trigger the toolbar. I could also still manipulate anything on the the plane such as heading, CDU, that was in view.
Could press ESC and get into the menus, where I also confirmed I could test the joystick in the Controls menu, and it was showing full inputs there.
