Hi everyone. Since 3 days I ah e a big issue. After msfs2020 started, i have a lost connection message and the bing data is desactivated. The lost connection message appears very often. I had Check my internet : ok and excellent. Impossible to load terrain and airport. Is anyone have the same issue ?
At what point do you get the lost connection message?
I had the same issue on a short test flight 9-27-2025 after making some control sensitivity changes. Never had any connectivity issues prior to that. I have 1 GB fibre and then did a speed test and had excellent throughput up/down. Definitely was either an Asobo issue or router issue at MS IMO
Hi, My issue appear when i open the map to choose an airport. The map remain trouble with no detail, the message los connection appear, after a few seconds i have a second message indicate that the data for bing are desactivated. If i re-activate the bing data, after a few minutes again “lost connection”. I checked my internet connection and it is excellent. In parrallele i have a very mong time to load the plane to start the flight. I decided to uninstal msfs and re-instal it. Maybe it’s an issue with the software, or with the community folder… don’t know. For me it’s not a Asobo server issue because i load an upgrade for some addons without any issue. The instalation of MSFS is running normaly with a good flow. I come back after the instalation and the restart of MSFS.
I had this message this afternoon on a flight. It said I was offline and that I couldn’t continue as I didn’t have the offline files downloaded. I went into the settings and bing maps was turned off. I switched it back on and it’s been fine since.
Yes, i had few month ago in my previous home sometimes this issue. And as you, i turn on bing maps and it’s ok after. I moved some month ago and at my new home i have a better internet connection, and since i was install here i never had again this lost connection, until two days ago. But what it seems very strange is that i have also a very long time to load the plane when i click to start flight. It is so long that i’m have to CTD msfs. It’s the first time i have this problem. I don’t if this one and the pb about lost connection have the same cause. Addon ? Bad data flow ? virus ? …. As I posted before, i uninstall and re-install MSFS, but after restart msfs i had again the same issue :v very bad map without any details, and a very long time to load the plane (cessna 172, so not a very complex and heavy file….!). I decided to unistall again msfs and uninstall all the addon, and restart with a fresh pc…. i will see if that fix my issue.
