Seems to be happening in every plane. As soon as I load in I can hear a faint electronic static noise. As I throttle up and increase the noise of the engines the static gets worse. It seems to be tied with the volume level of the sim. Has anyone else experienced this?
There are some options in the audio settings to help simulate accurate radio communication, including static (VHF signal degradation). Have that turned on by chance?
Thanks but that wasn’t it. I figured out what it was, for some reason my speakers were set to 6 channel output even though they are only 2.1. Not sure what was happening but channels 5 and 6 were filled with static and MSFS was the only programming I’ve been using lately that utilizes surround sound if available. That’s why I was only hearing the static in the sim.
I turned it back to 2 channel and it works again.
