8 days later and I still have the problem but now FS doesn’t even start. I did a flight this morning but now it’s even worst…

Could you try resetting your Windows hosts file

How to reset the Hosts file back to the default | Microsoft Support

then restart PC and launch MSFS?

Thanks for the message but after waiting for an hour or so, I could start a flight again. I think something changed last week on the servers. I see a lot of people complaining about the same problem I have. Even closing the sim is slow, probably because it’s trying to save my settings to the servers or so…

I still have a lot of problems with the connection to the servers. A lot of bandwidth messages and very slow or not loading of a flight. Anyone else?

Nope. Only time I saw this message was one day when my internet provider was having some maintenance.

Did you try resetting your hosts file as Tenpatrol said?

Hi, yes I did but the host file looked exactly like the reset one, so it wasn’t that. It just started happening a couple of weeks ago. Suddenly. I’m in Western Europe. So I don’t know if it’s a regional thing or not.

That could be a sign that your network card is on its way out. It happened to me with the network card integrated into my motherboard; I bought a replacement PCI Express network card for €25, and it’s worked perfectly ever since.

There are also models that plug into USB.

I don’t think so. I have no other problems at all and I have a pretty fast connection.

The cause could also be some programs running in the background. Try disabling all programs that start with Windows, then restart PC and test MSFS again.

If you have any third-party antivirus software installed, I would also uninstall it temporarily, restart PC.

In my case, the symptom only appeared with MSFS, which is very bandwidth-intensive. The network card would frequently disconnect and then reconnect at a lower speed—multiple times—until MSFS eventually reported that my bandwidth was too low.

The Intel update didn’t change anything; I had to resign myself to replacing the network card…
