I just went into EVGA X1 Precision and put a -1000 under clock on the memory and GPU, dropped the power setting allllll the way down to 26. Now? After a few minutes GPU temps are 50C/122F and the dev mode FPS counter says 13fps. X1 Precision OSD however says 51fps?
So, a solution for when doing long downloads, but not a general solution.
