After a friend of mine bought this addon, not knowing about the great freeware addon on flightsim.to, I wanted to warn potential buyers.
Unfortunately, the airport has been made pretty loveless. What you can read on Simmarket in the review. Of course, this is just my personal opinion. But Red-Wing, Gaya, etc. do it better.
The Freeware Pendant have a lot of more Details, and you can see the love that the developer put into it.
I would like to say that I do not know either developer personally, but am Swiss, and this is one of my most popular airports. Look the Details in the Hangar…e.c.t
I think it’s a shame when you get something for money, that others do with a lot more passion and don’t ask for anything. If you sell, then offer something for it … It’s the same as with some Planes in the MP who are simply not worth your money.
As I said, just my personal opinion on this matter …
While I completely and wholeheartedly agree with your assessment of the two products, I don’t think titles containing stuff like “buyers be careful” or “beware” are appropriate for an honest review.
In this case the freeware has been around for many months and it is truely exceptional. But that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong or seedy with the payware. And to me a warning like that in the title implies that. Also it has a strong taste of clickbait to me. Just my personal opinion.
I do have some sympathy for payware developers competing against passion projects. I don’t have any sympathy for buyers not doing their research. This airport from MXI Design is very basic, not terrible but it’s lacking a lot especially for 14.40 euros.
At the end of the day, like a lot of products on simmarket, or anywhere else for that matter (but especially simmarket) do your research, you are the only one to blame if it’s not up to scratch.
No Prob Dude hahaha…my Problem is allways Google Translater here !!!
By the way, I have the LSZB Belp add-on from the same developer, unfortunately only mediocre compared to Gaya Simulations, Red Wing, ORBX. I will avoid this developer in the future.
