It’s really too expensive. Three flights with a PC-24 or CJ4 spoil the engines and it costs more than 1 millon. I don’t think it’s balanced. A CJ4 produces more or less 100K per hour in passive income, but after 10 hours you have to change it’s engines or the electric systems for a total cost of more than 1 million.
That whole situation just irritates me to no end. After grinding for eight hours and seeing that 10M passive income flash up, the measly 2M profit after all the deductions feels like a complete waste of my precious flying time – time I could have spent actually in the air! Those maintenance and wear and tear costs absolutely need to be slashed; they’re making the whole thing pointless.
For sure they do. Even on the 737 it’s a joke I work on 737 daily and I can 100% apart from tyre changes and topping oil up we don’t replace landing gears every 20 hours !!
My virtual mechanic must be living the high life on my dime. I swear, half my income goes directly to keeping these metal birds vaguely airworthy. At this rate, I’ll be lucky if I can afford a paper airplane upgrade by next year. Lowering the repair costs would be a real game-changer, allowing my profits to actually, you know, profit instead of just funding someone’s virtual yacht
