With 1.6.27.0 the first airport in a row (KORD) loaded good, the 2nd KJFK with dances (zooming mouse wheel on a map view) was OK, the 3d KLAS loaded with much more dances but loaded, the 4th OMDB loaded OK, the 5th Denver was OK This was on my usual (low/mid) settings and the only problem was that visible AI aircraft traffic was not as dense as it was depicted on the MAP or in the EFB + the Map view was low-res at the airport for a quite a long time.
After this I set everything High and this time the plane was spawning at KORD much longer time but loaded OK. Тhere were almost no visible AI traffic for a few minutes.
Clouds started to load much faster, before 1.6.27.0 they were not loading in my case quite often without playing online settings few times.
Seems to be fixed for me at my critical airports in good old Europe.
All flights were loading very quickly at max settings.

Confirmed, was able to spawn in at KLNN with TLOD = 400 and Sea Traffic on Ultra.
Thanks to the Dev team for resolving the issue so quickly.

I’d LOVE to hear what exactly caused this but I’m afraid we’ll never hear that.
I still have the same problems! I can normally spawn into EDDL as example but I can’t spawn into LOWI. even with the TLOD workaround! What’s going on there. And after trying to spawn into LOWI I have problems to spawn into other airports as well. Is there still any other workaround?
I just tested and had no issues spawning into LOWI with Ultra settings and TLOD at 400. I don’t believe your issue is what was reported in this thread and has since been resolved. I would suggest cleaning out all your caches and giving it another try. If that doesn’t work perhaps a re-installation of the Sim may resolve it.
Start MSFS2024, switch off photgrammetry, choose LOWI as start. What happens now?
Nothing, no workaround, at least for me. This looks to me more as problem with streaming services or how the rolling cache works or I do not know anything else. I can play only from about 1H30 A.M. for about 2 o3 hours (and as I have to sleep I do not fly in the Sim for about a month already). All the rest of time it is a constant fighting with loops trying to spawn or fighting to load the game or fighting to quit the game.2 updates before I thought the problem was solved, but now it is back in a full scale. In 1.6.31 it looks more pronounced. Just now I spawn 40 minutes just to re-spawn in a downloaded and installed airport in a downloaded and installed default airliner.

The issue is either back or wasn’t resolved after all… i tried many planes and helicopter, being it original or addon ones, i tried spawning at EDDM, EDXF, EKBI, ENBR, LOWI, LIRF, DNAA, and many more, nothing but a loading screen, can’t start a single flight and onto the game won’t close, neet to kill it via the taskmanager.
Fixed a regression where the sim will hang when zooming in and trying to load into airports with a high Terrain Level of Detail Setting in the Northern US.
The fix is for airports in the Northern US.
Aren’t the airports you’ve identified outside the US?

Well, I just increased my TLOD to 400 and my settings are mostly Ultra with some high. I did not have any issues spawning into EDMM.
It’s possible that something within your settings or cache lingered after the update so my only suggestion would be to try removing and re-installing the sim.
I should mention that it did take about 30-40 seconds for the spawning. I tested EDDM, EDXF and EKBI
not a option, since most is downloaded (and up to date) caches cleaned. i did manage to spawn midflight.

I don’t understand why you say it is not an option.
If your community folder is in a non-default folder then simply rename it. If it is in the default location then copy it somewhere else. Then save your usercfg.opt file.
Then it is a simple thing to do a complete uninstall and reinstall and copy/rename whatever is necessary. It might take 30mins but surely you will have the cleanest setup you can get.

Confirmed, that is exactly how I handle it. My community folder is outside of the default location so when I uninstall the sim the community folder remains. I simply reinstall and before I start the sim I copy the usercfg.opt back to the ..\LocalCache folder. The entire process takes 5 minutes.
