The 850 creates a lot of stutters and some weird mouse movements in 2024. It’s the only JustFlight aircraft I own, currently.
It hasn’t been updated to 2024, hopefully soon.
With the latest SU1 Beta update half of the cockpit animations for the autopilot don’t work anymore (the indications on the EFIS and also the lights for the buttons like HDG or NAV). The autopilot still works but it’s hard to tell what’s active.
Otherwise it still seems to work fine.
Is there a way to bind Beta range to the detent of the Honeycomb Bravo, without using any 3rd party software? Looking to just do it using MSFS 2020’s control options.
Last I heard a week ago the update is good to go but the dev is holding off on releasing it until custom tail registrations work like it did in 2020
Thanks! I’ll have a test with this.
And if you want to use axis for beta and reverse, this FSR500 guide works also in TBM (and all Turboprops).
Hey, nice to know this works on other turbo props, I just started using this method a few days ago on the FSR500 in MSFS2024. It takes some time to get use to, but works quite well when you get the hang of it. Especially for taxiing.
At least it works in TBM, Dukes, Kodiak and DragoX, so I presume it works every Turboprops.
hope the update to 2024 for this is worth the wait.
It seems the GTN 750 will not allow entry of the ICAO… It works in MSFS 2024 but not in 2020, I have the most recent update for the TBM and the GTN — Am I doing something wrong or is this a known issue?
I’ve really enjoyed flying the TBM 850 in FS2020 and, like many others, have been patiently waiting for a compatibility update for FS2024. With limited information on when that might be released, I attempted to install version Install_BKSQ_TBM850_MSFS_0.1.2.exe. Unfortunately, the installer fails, stating that MSFS is not detected on my system due to the inability to locate the UserCfg.opt file.
In the meantime, is there a way to manually direct the installer to the FS2024 UserCfg.opt location so we can continue using the aircraft until the official update arrives?
It’s worth noting that some other developers, while acknowledging their aircraft aren’t fully compatible with FS2024 yet, have at least updated their installers to allow users to proceed—albeit at their own risk.
I’m curious why a similar approach hasn’t been considered here. I’m sure there’s a reason, though whether it’s one that truly addresses customer concerns or simply serves to placate is another matter.
Yes! But only advisable when you don’t also use FS2020.
Go to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\
and create a new folder called “Microsoft Flight Simulator”.
Then go to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache
and copy the file “UserCfg.opt” to the previously created “Microsoft Flight Simulator” folder. This should trick installers into thinking they are installing to FS2020.
Of course, if you also use FS2020 the folder “Microsoft Flight Simulator” probably already exist and you might accidentally overwrite the FS2020 UserCfg.opt file. So exercise caution.
Thank you for tips and tricks. Much appreciated… and I do not have FS2020 installed.
Here’s the latest from Nick at Black Square, news on all things Black Square.

Updated my TBM850. Now the TDS GTNxi750 screen is black. It worked fine the first two flights then went dark. LEDs work fine on the unit. If I make GNS530 Primary, it works fine. Running TDS v1.1.03 with Navigraph featture. Filled out at ticket with JF, no response so far. Anyone read of this issue. Thanks!
Would it be a good idea to raise this with TDS too?
