Make windmills indicate the wind direction

If you’re not flying in a glass cockpit it’s often difficult to determine the direction the wind is coming from. Windmills, just like steam or other nature effects, are great indicators to show the wind direction close to the ground, as they are always turned into the wind when spinning. It would be great if this could be implemented to make the experience even more enjoyable.

I am aware that there is a “bug logged” about this but it is from Sept 2020 and has obviously been ignored. That’s why I wrote intentionally in the wishlist.

As you mentioned, there is an existing report [BUG LOGGED] Wind turbines always point North is bug-logged and has the msfs-2024 tag, that means devs have it on their list. Having another topic for the same request will divide votes and will not speed-up the fix process. If not already done, please feel free to contribute to the open report. Thank you !
