I don’t know Mac’s, so forgive me if this is an ignorant question…
Don’t they have Thunderbolt ports? Couldn’t you buy an external Thunderbolt drive and install the sim on that?
I know on my PC I pointed the installer to my D: drive, which is a physical drive separate from my C: drive.
Some folders were installed on C:, but the bulk of the install is on D:
