Hi everyone,
I have MSFS2020 installed in 2 machines, in which one of them has 2 SSDs (Im calling it A)- the other one (B`) has only one SSD. The point is: Machine A has a manual cache file installed on its secondary SSD (D:), and when I try to create a manual cache on Machine B (which has only C:) it says there is no space available on drive D: (of course!). Does anyone know how can I solve it?
Thanks!
It’s sort of off topic but I half to ask, why use it at all?
After a few years I find it quite useless and sometimes cause of issue.
I like to cache some areas especially when planning to do some VFR flights; it brings a slight increase on performance in my viewpoint.
As far as I can tell the cloud save is always going to be fussy with this.
A workaround could be a partition on PC-A as drive D: for it’s cache and then they would both match in a way. You would have to commit to a partition size/how much manual cache space you will be able to use without further adjustments on PC-A.
Thanks, this workaround should work. Anyway I think I will delete the manual cache on PC-A (and eventually create a new one on drive C:) so both could also match. In the end I am mostly using PC-B therefore it shouldn`t be a big deal. Thanks again for your time and suggestion!
I dont have the Manual Cache anymore. I can not create one. What is wrong with that…? Thanks!
